Improving your movement is a fantastic way to become a better badminton player. Becoming a quicker, more agile, and more efficient player on the court will help everything from your shots to your improvement. 

Here are 15 quick tips to help you enhance your movement today:

1) Footwork is Key

Work on your footwork techniques, including the split-step, side shuffle, crossover steps, and even shot movement patterns. 

Good footwork is the foundation of efficient movement in badminton.

One way to practice footwork is the badminton court clock. 

Move to each point around the court using good badminton movement. If you have a partner, they can point to where they want you to move. If not, just decide for yourself. This drill can be performed with or without your racket.
